Gig yesterday!
We had a gig yesterday at "Ungdomens hus" in Partille. It was great! The stage is of bigger size so we had to move a lot to fill up the space!
We taped she show and it'll be exciting to see the show!
This week we were offered a gig in Hestra with short notice. The show is the next saturday but we couldn't take it because Jimmie had planned a trip to his girlfriend in Stockholm to plan their upcoming wedding in May.
Part of Jon would like to thank the organizers for the opportunety to play at their place and hope that there will be more chances in the future!
It's closing in to the big show now! Hope to see you there and bring all your friends! We're about to press buissness cards this week. Gonna check out a place where we can get T-shirts too.

Busy week!
It's been a really busy week so I haven't been able to write!
The latest week I have stayed a lot at Jonas place! We have been writing new songs! We came up with 2 really nice melodies and I have started to write the lyrics for one of them.
Jimmie and Tobias has been working really good with the gig-search. We are currently negochiating about some really cool gigs! They have also started to contact Europe for our summer tour! Stay tuned!
Andreas has been working really hard with a new myspace and finished the layour this week! The page looks really proffesional and is really goodlooking! We will launch it as soon as the official partofjon.com homepage is up ( our manager is in charge of that).
We also went shopping together for the upcoming photoshoot! Henrik and Jonas came home with some really nice clothes! We brought the videocamera and you will se some clips from this in the first episode of Part of Jon TV which will launch in the beginning of March!
Me and Jim was interviewed by "Partillebo-news". The article will come out in march! Check out the picture of the reporters Karin and Susanne!

Managment meeting!
Hello!
I just came home from a meeting with our manager Oz Osukaru! We met up at Condecco in Gothenburg to talk about our future collaboration!
I also had a nice chicken salad with hot coco and cream, Jonas had a shrimp sandwich with hot coco and cream and the other guys just bit their nails! :D
Oz told us about the many exciting things that are coming up in the company with new business collaborations that will benefit us!
We will sign a new deal with Blindfoldead at the end of February!
Otherwise we’ve been on different places this weekend. Jim has been with his girlfriend and planned their upcoming wedding in May. Andreas had a DJ job yesterday and I had a song writing session Martina.

Dance of Jon?
Hello!
Just came home from a great rehearsal session! We have practiced the two songs that we will play at the showcase at Storan on the 26th of February!
We are taking this competition really serious so why don’t include everything in the practicing?
We brought our video camera and recorded our moves in order to see how we can move better on stage!
Lot’s of laughs and silly moments there I tell you! I can guarantee you that some clips from this session will be featured in the first episode of Part of Jon TV!
This weekend was really nice!
Jim went to his girlfriend in Stockholm, Tobbe worked all weekend, Andreas had a DJ job and me and Jonas went to Hot Fräs birthday party on the Saturday night!
Crazy party I tell you! We danced all night long! Got some really really funny pictures of Jonas, I’ll ask him if I can upload them here on the blog and if he agrees they will be here later this week! =)

Songwriting night!
Yesterday I ( Hank) went to Jonas after my daywork at Posten for a songwriting session!
We started to work on our latest song "King of Hearts" It's a cool tune but we feel that it doesn't really lift like an express elevator to the sky in the chorus!
It ended up with us starting to write a new song that we feel is very promising!
Tobias and Jimmie have teamed up to work with the myspacepage and search for gigs and book our summertour in Europe!
It has resulted in one booked gig allready!
We will play at Harry B James in Stockholm on the 11th of March! So watch out there in our great capialcity! Part of Jon is on the hunting march!
We are really happy about the show and are going to book shows on the 12th and 13th of march in cities close to Stockholm!
If you know any club that want a cool rockband that'll give one hell of a show don't be afraid to mail us!
Had a snail mail today from Medborgarskolan with some information about the showcase! Got the names of the other bands that will compete with us and checked them out immidietly, some sounds really good and tight!
This weekend me and Jonas will go to Hot Fräs's birthday party!
Andreas have a DJ show and Jim will go to Stockholm to be with his Girlfriend. Tobias is busy with work all weekend so I guess that we'll just have to take a beer for him too! ;)
Since the last time!
We've been really lazy with the blog the latest months but there will be a change from now! Henrik is the captain of the Part of Jon blog now and I guarantee you that the wind will blow hard in these sails! Or something like that... :P
ANYWAY!!!
What has happend with Part of Jon the latest months?
We have decided to make a full length album that is planned to be released at the beginning of summer '10!
We have some really interesting material that we are working with and are really looking forward to get out and play for you guys!
The first schedueled gig this year will be @ Storan in gothenburg. It's a big competition where we have been selected as one of 10 bands from every corner in Sweden to play for a bunch of A&R Agents, Managmentcompanies and famous musicians! It'll be a blast, I'll get back with more information as soon as I know anything new!
We will soon launch an exciting project called " Part of Jon TV" It will be integrated with the blog, Facebook and Youtube.
The thought is to make episodes about the band and each member in their personal life!
We have been played in radio too! We visitied Radio 88 on the 21st of November 2009 and had a 1 hour show with Part of Jon.

Mycket på gång!
Det händer mycket just nu. Vårt managmentbolag jobbar med att ta fram logga, pressbilder, ny myspacedesign och skivomslag till vår nästa skiva. Allt detta skall vara klart tills spelningen på Henriksberg. Håll ut, snart får du ett uppfräschat Part of Jon och 2 nya låtar som du kan lyssna på när du vill på vår myspace!
Idag repade vi. Tyvärr kunde inte Jim vara med då han var tvungen att hoppa in och jobba kväll. Vi arrangerade lite på vår nya låt Love Died Yesterday, en ballad som kommer få varenda kottes ögon att drypa av tårar! Haha. Nej men skämt och sido den känns riktigt stark! Vi kommer garanterat lira den på Henriksberg, det vill du inte missa! Vi började också på en ny låt som går under projektnamnet "Wembleylåten/U2 låten". Den känns pampig! Förhoppningsvis kommer vi att kunna lira den på Henkriksberg.. =)
Förövrigt har vi börjat jobba stenhårt på myspace med marknadsföring i Europa för att kunna förenkla en Europa turne till sommaren =).

Photoshoot
I lördags morse stack vi in till stan för att plåta lite bilder till pressmaterial och liknande. Det var bra segt att gå upp tidigt en lördamorron, särskilt när de va regnigt och kallt ute...
Vi mötte upp Oscar som skulle plåta oss på Avenyn vid halv elva tiden och stack direkt upp till Götaplatsen där vi skulle ta dom första bilderna. Det var kallt som fan (särskilt för Tobbe och Jimmie som bara hade t-shirt), men rockstars som vi är så grejade vi det utan problem. När vi var klara där stack vi ner mot Avenyn igen och tog några bilder med lite andra kläder.
Bilderna blev riktigt bra och vi blev klara snabbt, vilket va gött med tanke på att det regnade konstant. Här e två bilder från igår, en från första tagningen o en från andra.

Rep + Video från studion!
Igår va vi i replokalen och övade faktiskt stämsång för första gången(!). Andreas och Tobias ska lära sig att sjunga stämsång så att vi så småningom kan ha 4-stämmigt live. Det kommer bli grymt! Vi snackade också lite om vilka kläder vi skall ha för plåtningen imorgon. Det ska bli så gött att äntligen få ta lite pressbilder, de har vi väntat länge på. Hoppas bara inte att de kommer regna för mycket... (de ska tydligen vara ösregn hela dan imon).
Vi tänkte också bjuda er på lite videoklipp från studion när vi spelade in Freak Out. Det va ett tag sen nu, men bätttre sent än aldrig ;)

En liten uppdatering
Tja!
Här kommer en lite uppdatering av läget:
I måndags hade vi möte med Blindfoldead där vi fick veta lite om vad dom har gjort de senaste veckorna och vad vi ska göra framöver. Vi bokade in den 3 oktober för fotografering till pressmaterial för myspace, pressutskick med mera. Vi snackade även lite om den kommande EP:n eller "Maxi-singel" som det så fint heter. Den kommer troligtvis att bestå av fyra spår, nämligen Freak Out och Remember I'll Forget You samt de två nya låtarna Fall Back Down och Don't You Let Me Down. De måste sistanämnada är dock inte helt klara än men de är på gång och skivan kommer att vara upptryckt och klar till våran spelning Henriksberg den 7 november! Den spelningen får ni inte missa! ;)
På lördag ska vi ut hela bandet och partaja! Dock inte Jimmie som jobbar på lördag, haha! Men man vet aldrig med honom, han kanske dyker upp ändå! Hursomhelst kommer det bli en riktigt skön helg som avslutas med ett gött bakfylle-rep på söndag där alla är extra taggade på att repa! eller inte.. :D haha.

Signade av Blindfoldead International!
I förra veckan skrev vi på för management-bolaget Blindfoldead International :) Det känns väldigt kul att det äntligen börjar hända lite saker för oss och vi hoppas att det kommer att bli ett bra samarbete som kommer gynna både oss och Blindfolded.
Vad kommer Blindfoldead att kunna göra för oss? Dom kommer ordna med logotyp, ny myspacedesign, hemsida, merchandise, spelningar med mera. Alla runtomkring-grejer så att säga, vilket gör att vi äntligen kan fokusera helt och hållet på det viktigtaste - musiken! Vi håller just nu på med inspelningar av två låtar ("Fall Back Down" och "Don't You Let Me Down") som vi hoppas blir klara innan månanden är slut. Vi håller samtidigt på att skriva en ny låt, som snart är klar! Sen har vi även en hel hög med nya låtidéer som bara väntar på att bli få bli skrivna...

Ny blogg!
Nu har vi äntligen startat en ny blogg - på svenska. Att hålla på och skriva på engelska blev helt enkelt för jobbigt. Den nya bloggen kommer att uppdateras oftare och vi kommer att ladda upp ännu fler bilder och filmklipp än tidigare.
